Research Triangle Park, NC - The EI Group, Inc. (EI) is pleased to announce that Vice President of Loss Prevention Services, Chris Murray, has been elected President of the Carolinas Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Mr. Murray was nominated and elected by a group of his peers representing the industrial hygiene profession in North and South Carolina.
The American Industrial Hygiene Association is one of the largest international associations serving the needs of occupational and environmental health professionals practicing industrial hygiene in industry, government, labor, academic institutions, and independent organizations. AIHA members are part of an organization dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of contaminants and stressors that may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort and inefficiency among workers and the general public. Mr. Murray assumed the role of President in March.
