Research Triangle Park, NC – The EI Group, Inc. (EI) has been providing professional consulting services for more than 20 years and has grown, changed, and reorganized to keep up with the changing times. That is evident again as the company enters into a new decade. With an eye on the changing marketplace, EI has restructured its technical staff to meet two specific objectives, providing the same high quality services from each office while expanding its position in the energy and sustainability market.
To meet the first objective EI is consolidating the majority of the technical staff under Christopher Murray, Senior Vice President of Operations. This move will further encourage the effective use of staff to meet client and project needs. Mr. Murray’s success in managing the Loss Prevention services group will now expand into all technical services areas. Further, Phillip Fincher has been promoted to Vice President of Health and Safety Services to provide the technical leadership across the EI footprint and ensure high quality services in this expanding market. Mr. Fincher has been successfully managing and growing EI's offices in Virginia and this move will help the entire organization benefit from that success.
To meet the second objective, Michael Walker has been promoted to Vice President of Energy and Environmental Services. Mr. Walker’s focus will be to expand EI’s position in the energy and sustainability fields by providing direction and leadership through marketing efforts, technical excellence, and staff development.
These changes will assist EI in continuing to grow and adopt to the changing marketplace with a reputation for excellence.
