Research Triangle Park, NC – Michael L. Walker, Vice President of Energy & Environment for The EI Group, Inc. (EI), provided two presentations this week at the 2011 Energy, Utility & Environment Conference (EUEC) in Phoenix, Arizona. The EUEC is one of the nation’s premier conferences on U.S. energy independence and energy conservation and draws thousands of attendees annually. Mr. Walker provided an educational seminar addressing common barriers to implementing energy efficiency upgrades and a case study regarding energy assessments for a national restaurant chain.
Mr. Walker is a Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and LEED Accredited Professional with over two decades of experience with environmental compliance and energy efficiency project management. His credentials and extensive experience in the field have allowed EI to successfully support a wide array of public and private institutions in their efforts to reduce utility costs associated with routine operations.
