Glen Allen, Virginia - The EI Group, Inc. (EI) is excited to welcome Susan Wilcox, CIH to our Virginia Operations. Susan has just joined our team as a Senior Industrial Hygienist. This role will allow Susan to utilize her extensive industry experience in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental Management to support EI’s goal to your single source Environmental, Health and Safety Solution. Susan received her Certification from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience in the field of EH&S.
Prior to joining EI, Susan worked for an Industrial Hygiene Laboratory as General Manager of Operations, Technical Director, and Quality Manager. She spent 10 years as the plant IH for AlliedSignal in Hopewell VA (now Honeywell) and 10 years as the Corporate IH for Ethyl Corporation (now Afton Chemical) where she provided safety and IH support to their manufacturing operations worldwide. In these roles, she has managed and supported global IH programs, global safety statistics, Worldwide Emergency Response Systems, Corporate Crisis Management, Business Continuity, domestic and international demolition projects, and Product Stewardship. Susan has been an active board member of the both the local AIHA and ASSE sections in Central VA throughout her professional career.
