Industrial Hygienist - Greenville, SC

Industrial HygieneThe EI Group, Inc.'s (EI) Greenville, SC office has an immediate opening for a self-motivated professional Industrial Hygienist with 2-3 years of experience who can work independently in a variety of commercial and industrial occupational settings. Familiarity with assessing exposure risk in both industrial/manufacturing processes, as well as performing indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments in commercial buildings desired.

The core responsibilities of this position will include the following: 

  1. Industrial hygiene assessments including airborne contaminant/noise monitoring and ventilation studies in the manufacturing environment
  2. Indoor Air Quality Studies and Mold/Moisture Assessments in commercial buildings and residential housing
  3. Hazardous Building Materials Inspections (asbestos, lead based paint, PCBs, etc)

Health and Safety Professional - Morrisville, NC

(EI) has an immediate and long term opening for a highly motivated Health & Safety Professional to be a part of our headquarter operational team located in Morrisville, North Carolina.  The successful candidate must possess broad experience in safety and training necessary to continue the expansion of our success in the North and South Carolina market.  Factors for success in this important position include: performance of mock OSHA audits; general occupational safety training; developing safety programs, and site safety oversight services.

The successful candidate will have between 5-10 years of experience in a health and safety capacity. Contract Occupational Health Nursing Professional (RN, LPN, EMT) - Lincolnton, NC

Occupational HealthThe EI Group is searching for a CONTRACT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (RN, LPN or Paramedic) to support operations at a manufacturing facility in the Lincolnton, NC area.

 SCHEDULE – 40 hrs/wk

This manufacturing company places a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance by maintaining a robust safety record.  The candidate will be the sole health care provider (RN, LPN or Paramedic ) onsite and an essential part of the Safety Team.  Role reports to the Safety Director.

Individual should be either a Registered Nurse (RN), a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic with 2+ years prior occupational health experience in treating minor injuries and illnesses, with certification in First Aid/CPR (American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety and Health Institute).  Individual should possess good knowledge/proficiency in the employment of Microsoft Office, including the development of PowerPoint Presentations and the presentation of data on Excel.

Contract, Part-Time Occupational Health Nurse - Raleigh, NC

Occupational HealthThe EI Group is searching for a CONTRACT, PART- TIME OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE (RN) to support operations at a facility near Raleigh, NC.  This position has the potential of becoming a full-time position.

This position will provide comprehensive medical service in support of facility.  Included will be performing physicals for regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, scheduling and consulting with local management. Emergency response for illnesses and injuries is also provided during office hours as well as follow-up consultation for occupational injuries.

Occupational HealthThe EI Group is looking for PRN (as needed), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and/or Certified Nursing/Medical Assistants (CNA, CMA) with 2+ years prior patient experience, with certification in First Aid/CPR (American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety and Health Institute).  Individuals must possess excellent customer service skills, have reliable attendance and transportation.

Additional Skills
·         Experience conducting wellness health fairs/biometric screenings required.
·         Competency required in phlebotomy, finger stick blood draws, vaccine injections.
·         Experience conducting respirator fit testing, audiograms, vision screening, BMI calculations a huge plus.
·         Working knowledge of computerized program management tools: Microsoft Office/ Excel.
·         Willingness to learn company’s policies and attend specific orientation.

Mobile Testing Technician - All Locations

Environmental Scientist - Morrisville, NC

Environmental ServicesThe EI Group, Inc. (EI) is seeking an environmental scientist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to support our national due diligence assessment services. The position will be based out of our headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC.  Minimum BA/BS degree in environmental science or related life sciences is required. The position will require extensive travel throughout the southeast US, with the heaviest concentration of travel in North and South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Excellent writing and communication skills are a must and a professional writing exam will be given to candidates who are screened for an interview. Other environmental experience, such as performing asbestos, lead-based paint surveys and indoor air quality monitoring is a plus.

A working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, with strong communication and technical writing skills desired, along with working knowledge and experience in the practical application of ASTM standards as they relate to environmental site assessments. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles required.

Environmental Scientist / Engineer - All Locations

Environmental ServicesThe EI Group, Inc. (EI) is is looking for a staff level professional to be part of the expanding environmental services practice.  This practice is focused on providing environmental engineering and compliance services to industrial/manufacturing sector.  Those services include air permitting and compliance, wastewater and storm water permitting and compliance, SPCC Plan development, waste management consulting, soil and groundwater contamination assessments and remediation, Process Safety Management support, and other services.

The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in various areas of industrial environmental compliance, with a demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and industrial operations.  Additionally, that candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a strong desire to learn and grow, and a commitment to high quality.
